Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing him learn and grow is the most rewarding part of being a mom. He just turned one, which is crazy, and I can't believe how much he has changed! He has his own personality and I love exploring different ways to have fun and make him laugh! He went from sleeping, eating, and pooping, to running around the house, saying some words, and giggling constantly in less then a year. Looking at him just makes me feel so fulfilled and so proud. I can't wait to see what comes next!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One of my favorite memories was when he first made the sound mama. Of course hearing him say mama is not unusual now, but when he was 6 months old, one time I was changing his diaper and repeating 'mama.' I watched him study how my mouth was moving and then out of nowhere he said 'ma.' I was so excited and repeated 'mama' again. He moved his lips as he tried to figure out how he made the first sound, and then he pushed out a 'mama' and I literally broke into tears. His first real sound!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the $20,000 towards a down payment on a single family home for our growing family. We are working hard to balance saving, while still enjoying our time with our baby since he is only going to be this little once. It would be great to have a large portion of a down payment covered to make our dreams of owning a single family home much closer! We hope to have a second baby and having the extra space would be everything!
