What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Every day I have the chance to give my children the best childhood possible. That’s why I chose to homeschool. To encourage them to learn things that keep them true to themselves. Getting to spend every day with them is so rewarding I don’t feel like I miss out on anything. I am their biggest cheerleader and there safest space. Every night I go to sleep knowing that I gave them everything I had to give and when they are older I will know I cherished every moment

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will always remember when my daughter was diagnosed with diabetes, for some it would be a memory that they’d tried to forget, but for me it’s the moment that defined my family. The way that my daughter took hold of her disease, the way her little brother stepped up to support and comfort her, the way she won the hearts of her nurses and doctors. Every day Bailey continues to amaze me. She’s accomplished more since her diagnosis and she lets nothing hold her back. Every day she inspires me.

What would you do with $20,000?

At first I thought, start a farm and buy land but then that felt selfish because I’m already so blessed. I’d like to have the extra money so that I could invest it into foster children. I’d love to buy them clothes stuffies support items be a super mom to the little ones who aren’t as lucky and need someone to stand up for them, I’d also give the remaining money to my own mother to help her start her own business so she could have more time to spend with her grandchildren. She deserves that.
