Emily Bowen

I’m a super mom because I balance my career, raise my kiddo, and still manage to show up every day with love, strength, and dedication.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is the daily reminder that I’m shaping a little person who will one day change the world. It’s the endless hugs, the laughter over inside jokes, and those moments when I look at my child and realize I’m his whole world. There’s nothing like the joy of watching him grow, from learning about dinosaurs to hearing his dreams for the future. Being a mom is the hardest yet most incredible adventure, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Every year, I take my child to Silverwood in Idaho. It's a cherished tradition that has become our home away from home. We’ve camped some years and stayed in a cozy cabin others, but it’s the road trip itself that fills our hearts with excitement. It's a time for us to bond, make memories, and just be together. It's our annual adventure that I’ll never forget.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, I’d focus on getting some much-needed repairs done at home—my garage door won’t even open, and a fireproof door is a must for safety. But I’d also use some of it to fix up my yard so my kiddo has a fun space to play this summer! Honestly, a weekend getaway with my girlfriends is long overdue. I’ve poured so much of myself into work and mom life that I know I need a break to recharge. Any leftover funds would go into savings for house upkeep and the endless mortgage.
