Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Our son was born with craniosynostosis and is a cranio WARRIOR! He’s 3 now and has come SO FAR. He is our miracle child. My favorite part of motherhood is seeing him get bigger, smarter, and stronger every single day. I’m so proud to be his mama. He reminds me what’s important, and I know everything has been a part of God’s plan. Having a child whose testimony glorifies the Lord ALREADY, is more than I could have ever prayed for. God is good, all the time, even in the storms.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget how STRONG babies are. After his cranio surgery at 4months old - he showed us just how far the healing power of love can go. A specific memory that comes to mind, is when Kendall was a little baby and was going through his surgery and healing, I would worship with him and tell him that Jesus is making us brave. Fast forward to being at the park and he’s 2.. sentences starting to form.. he was at the top of a slide and yelled “JESUS MADE ME BRAVE!” and went right down. Tears!

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly, we would be able to pay off our remaining medical and student debt, and that would allow us to save for A HOME!❤️ we all know medical and student debt can be crippling, and as a hardworking couple nearing our 30s, we long for a home for our sweet little boy. Currently we live with my momma and are so thankful for her help while we crawl out of this hole. My dad passed in 2021, so even in her hurting, she still is the best mama in the whole world and somehow still pours out.
