We would like to thank you for supporting Elma Guerra in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Looking at my children and knowing I did right by them. Seeing how wonderful they are, I cherish every minute I get to spend with them and wonder what I did to deserve such beautiful loving children.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Every day is a memory I will never forget. But we were homeless at one point and we would sleep in the car and my kids thought it was an adventure and they had so much fun and we’d play games and eat at picnic tables so they loved it. And we made the best of it, of our “camping trip” as my kids would describe it. They never knew we were homeless they just thought I’d like to take them out for adventures.

What would you do with $20,000?

Well one thing I’d like to do is buy a car or fix my car up. I’ve been having so many problems with my vehicle and I can’t afford to fix it or buy a new one so that would definitely be one thing. Another thing that I could do is give a down payment to buy a house of my own. As a single woman working paycheck to paycheck, I have Not been able to buy my own place. So are the 2 options I would use the money for.
