Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Knowing that I have been entrusted with the care and nurture of two beautiful children, and understanding that for as long as I live, I get to be their Momma & their number 1 person. I love hearing “Mom!” in the middle of the night when someone wakes up and needs a comforting & reassuring hug. I love hearing, “Mom, come see this!” when the children are proud of something they have accomplished. I love knowing that wherever life takes my children, I will always be ‘home’ to them.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

There are honestly too many wonderful memories. I actually keep a journal for each kid to document the funny and wonderful things that they have said & done throughout their life. If I had to choose one memory of my kids that I would never forget, of course it would be the birth of each of my children. My first birth was a water birth. It was absolutely wonderful experience! My daughter’s birth, however, was entirely different but still just as beautiful & wonderful of an experience.

What would you do with $20,000?

We are hoping to move in the next 6 months to a year. Currently we live in a three bedroom home and I work from home therefore, one of the bedrooms is my office and my children share a room at this time. They are getting to the age where they need their own space. I would love to use the $20,000 to go towards our new house!
