What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching my daughter grow into a kind, curious, and strong little human. Knowing that despite all the loss, trauma, and challenges I’ve faced, I still get to shape her world with love, resilience, and faith every day is the greatest gift of all.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I’ll never forget the moment my son squeezed my hand three times the last time before he passed, it was his way of telling me he was still fighting and I love you. And I’ll never forget my daughter’s giggle the first time she said, “Mommy, I’m brave like Matthew.” That’s when I knew his legacy lived on in her.

What would you do with $20,000?

This would change everything. It would give me the chance to keep building a stable life, through grit and grace, a loving life for my daughter after all we’ve been through. I’d use it to create more security, more memories, and more opportunities, for her future, and for the purpose I’ve found in helping others through our story.
