Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Giving my daughter everything that I wasn't able to experience as a kid - I don't mean shoes, clothes, and toys - although she gets more than her fair share of that. I mean unconditional love, unwavering support, heartfelt encouragement, and experiences that have, and will continue to broaden her horizons like getting to try multiple different sports, music lessons, theatre experience, and international travel.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I will never forget was 4 days after my daughter was born, she was admitted to the NICU for jaundice. I didn't leave her side for more than 2 hours while she was there. One night her father came after work and insisted that I leave the hospital to get some dinner. On our walk back to the hospital I tripped and fell, and broke my knee! We attracted a lot of attention with my crutches and brace but we got through it like we've gotten through everything else since - TOGETHER!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use this money towards a downpayment on our forever home. We have lived in the same apartment her whole life. She is desperate for a home with stairs and I have wanted for a garden in my backyard for years! If there was any left I would love to plan another vacation, and add a dog to our family!
