Elisabeth Sorenson

At 22 weeks pregnant, my husband was diagnosed with cancer for a 2nd time, unrelated to the first cancer. I’m fighting hard for my family!

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Encouraging and allowing space for my son to grow and flourish into his own person. I love seeing what holds his interest, what things he’s curious about. Helping instill confidence and seeing that pay off when he takes a risk but it works out! He is brave and wild and free and I’m grateful to get to witness it.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Finding out we are having another boy, due June 2025, and my son’s first reaction being “No!” We know they’ll be best buds one day, but man was that funny. As time has gone on he’s more and more excited for baby brother to grow and get big and strong so he’s ready to play!

What would you do with $20,000?

Put some towards my husband’s cancer medical bills and the rest as a down payment for a family car- we only have one car right now & it will be tight with two car seats.
