Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I love watching my kids learn. When they start something new, it is fun to watch them as I support them through the learning process. Once they have learned it, I love to see them use the new skill or idea. The proud look on their face says it all.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

A fond memory I have is when we first got our riding lawn mower. When we brought it home, we each had so much fun helping each other try to navigate it around the yard. Some of us came awfully close to trees and others ran into flowers. Others ran into the fence more than they would admit. The fun part of that day was the laughter we shared.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, I could fix up one of the places my family and I love to hang out and relax the most. We have busy lives so, during the warm season, we love to swim in our pool and lay on our deck. Due to some issues with the wiring and some damage due to storms this last year, we would use the money to redo the pool, update the deck, get new furniture for the deck, and get new lighting for night time swims or sitting on the deck together as a family. This is a place we stay connected.
