Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching my child grow and knowing that I’m the one shaping his life. Seeing him hit milestones, develop his personality, and express love for me makes all the struggles worth it. It also pushes me to become stronger, more independent, and more resilient. I’ve learned to appreciate the little moments.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory of my son that I’ll never forget is when he first started saying ‘Mommy.’ He learned it from a show called Lucas and Friends, and once he started, he never stopped. Hearing him call me ‘Mommy’ over and over never gets old. I could listen to it all day. It’s a reminder of how much he loves and needs me, and it always makes me smile.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use it to secure better housing for me and my son. Right now, I don’t feel like we’re in the best environment for either of us to grow and become our best selves. Having a stable and positive home would make a huge difference in our lives. I would also use some of the money to get new clothes for my son, making sure he has everything he needs to be comfortable and happy.
