Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is the unconditional love on both sides. It's about the raw, beautiful reality of a mother's love in action with no option button. It's about the countless small acts of kindness, the whispered reassurances, the silent tears wiped away, and the sheer, unyielding force of my spirit that keeps my family afloat. Having the opportunity to be the parent I needed but didn't have and to see what a difference that makes.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Well outside of when they were much younger and we would be dinning out,someone would always come up to me and say how well behaved my children are. Still today i get complimemts about them as young adults. Also,the resilience and strength they showed during that time when we had to live in a hotel for six months and a temporary home for a year. They lost all of their personal belongings and never complained. They were supportive to one another and ME, when I was supposed to be the strong one.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would take half to spend on a family vacation that I could never afford and will split the other amongst of 5 ways, where one half of the kids portion will go into their savings and the other half to spend on what they wish. My portion will be spent on some necessary house projects!
