Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The feeling I get when I pick up my daughter from daycare after a long day, getting to hug her after I’ve been stressing about work and school all day long, and getting to tell her how much I missed her. I love when I get to spend quality time with her on the weekends and it’s like everything in my world has meaning again. Being my daughter’s sole provider is something I would not give up for all the money in the world. She gives my life meaning and she has saved me from myself when I was down.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

There is no memory that I could ever forget with my daughter, she makes life so much more beautiful because she sees things in such a new light that it shifts my perspective of everything in this world. I cherish every single moment I have with her because I know that one day will be our last and if I don’t make the most of our time together then I’ll live in regret for not having her in my life.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put away more than half of it for my daughter when she’s older in a savings account. The rest I would save to spend on making more memories with my daughter. I would love to take her to an aquarium but we’ve been so tight on money that I can barely pay for her daycare costs. Every penny I get would be solely spent on my daughter to make sure she gets taken care of. If there were anything that I could use it would just be for gas so I could get to and from work/school.
