Receive Text UpdatesIf you asked me this question a year ago, I probably would have said watching my kids grow into successful adults. Which is always rewarding. But this year my kids helped lead me to a closer relationship with God which only further strengthened our family. So the true reward is seeing how your kids take your strength and feed it with even more love than you’ve ever experienced. It’s them shining light on spaces you hidden out of protection and making you want to be the best version of yourself.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One Christmas our house was broken into and many of their gifts were stolen. As a single mother, this was devastating because I worked so hard to give them everything they asked for. Our community came together and donated toys and raised money. My kids were overwhelmed with support and instead of taking the money, they asked to go shopping for this family nearby whose kids they played with because they didn’t get any presents. Paying it forward with them was truly an unforgettable experience
What would you do with $20,000?I’m still a single mother, daughter is 19 on her second year in college and son graduates high school this year. Trying to provide while also supporting them through college is an every day struggle. This $20,000 can help lift weight off my shoulders and support my kids even more through this season of life.
