What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The love returned from my own, and others that call me Ma. I embrace all kids, teenagers, and adults that need the mom touch in their life. The love returned overwhelms my heart. I give motherly love unconditionally. Everyone calls me Ma and it brings a smile to my heart and face. Answering those 2:00 AM. calls from them with the tears, stories or questions that blow my mine, still brings a smile. It shows that they trust me with all life issues, good or bad. This is the most rewarding part.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

They gave me a surprise birthday party on Halloween, which is my birthday, but I usually take all the grandkids trick a treating and we do a cake for me with all the 17 grands and my kids. This time after the grands got candy. My boyfriend and I went out to eat. I walked in,the waitress took us to the back and I said,”I don’t want to sit all the way back here. “ She opened the door and it was all my family and friends yelling Happy Birthday. They scared me,I was laughing so hard and overjoyed.

What would you do with $20,000?

Take the whole family to the beach for a weekend. Give all my kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, brother, sisters, and mom a gift card for a grocery store and gas station. The necessities of life are so high now, it is a struggle for everyone to survive on a daily basis. Some of my grandkids are in college, athletics and so many school events, clubs in and out of school. Groceries and gas is something that will help everyone survive the stresses of surviving life in this day and time.
