Between fighting cancer, working full time and raising my three kids, there isn’t a moment to spare. I’m just trying to raise good humans 💚
We would like to thank you for supporting Deja in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is simple but so complex, watching your children grow. Each age brings a different stage. Some stages repeat, some stay stagnant, some don’t last very long and some you can’t wait to end. Every single piece of growth in your children is so agonizingly beautiful. Being a mom is gut wrenching and heart warming. Every day you’re rewarded with everything I explained above and every day you get a new opportunity to do it all over again with so much love.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? For each of my three children I will forever remember the moments or possibly even hours of after each birth. Those first moments of holding my babies and it just being us in the world with no concept of time. Not only did I bring new life but I feel as if I was reborn as a new mother each time giving birth specifically for that baby and to fulfill their needs.
What would you do with $20,000?To be brutally honest I would invest all the money for my children’s future. Having cancer there is a very real possibility that I might not be here to help take care of them, especially with the cancer spreading. It is one of my all time fears to leave my children in a vulnerable state financially. I would do anything to make sure they could stay in their childhood home without a worry. I want my children to focus on their goals in life and not what they can’t do if I’m not around to help.
