Seeing a reflection of me but a better version. Seeing her grow everyday and smiling from the things that I do to make her happy. Due to her situation of being in a wheelchair, it’s very hard not just for me but for her not doing things the “normal” kids can. Not just having the opportunity but also the capability. It hurts me to see her not do those things but even with those feelings I have I still pour positivity into her and uplift her no matter what. She embraces it and shows it!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?The amount of love your kid will carry for you if you just be the best parent to them. It’s not about being the perfect parent, best-friend parent nor the richest parent. It’s about being there in a better way than your parents showed up for you. Sometimes it’s just having time to give your kids an ear to listen. I realize just being there in the moment to enjoy every bit of it, my kid appreciates it and thanks me and that’s all I could ask for.
What would you do with $20,000?20,000 would change my overall moment in my life within being able to schedule the Disneyland trip for my daughters 13th birthday next year, tried doing make a wish and she wouldn’t be accepted for help. Being able to take a family getaway trip to enjoy time away from work and release some stress! Also being able to pay off my debt to free up some extra money to catch up with my bills. I can only pray and be hopeful it’s my time this time around.
