Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing that my boys are happy and healthy everyday. Hearing them say “Oh yeah my mom can do that” or “My mom will get it for me” with no doubt in their mind that I will make it happen. Not necessarily materialistic things but even things for a project, knowing that they know I won’t let them down. Even when it comes to punishment, they know I won’t stand for certain actions, and they know everything has consequences. But they respect and realize I’m raising men at the end of the day.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Summer 2024, I let my boys go on their very first SummerCamp (4days) vacay away from home. I was terrified as they had NEVER been away from home for more than a night with grandparents. They went with the Salvation Army in Dallas TX. I packed each of them a journal for every memory they wanted to tell me about without forgetting with a picture of our family taped to the last page and “message from mom”, and a disposable camera to capture their beautiful moments. What would you do with $20,000?

I would help my fiancé with upgrade finances for our house like finishing our fence so our dogs can run freely, continuing our driveway pavement to give more room for basketball & chalk art. Making our house more of a home so my boys can fully enjoy their sanctuary. We have a wedding coming up in Oct. 2025 and a honeymoon in Feb. 2026 as well. So anything that could help contribute to these wonderful experiences would be greatly appreciated as well.
