Being a mom to two of the kindest, most loyal, considerate, patient, incredibly caring, supportive, and loving boys makes me the proudest.
We would like to thank you for supporting Dana Bruckner in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Boys being boys, they are naturally protective over their mom. So nothing and no one will ever hurt me. That’s something they tell me everyday. Getting hugs and kisses everyday even at their age now going on 21 and 18. Watching them grow into beautiful, independent and ambitious young men. But the most rewarding part is when they’re ill with the flu or a cold and I step right into mommy mode and get to take care of them.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? We had a power outage in the winter at -30 degrees Celsius when they were about 6 and 3 years old. We had a big fire stove in the living room. So that day I cooked our dinner on that stove and heated up water for them to have a bath. I grabbed all sorts of blankets and pillows put them in front of the fireplace. All three of us and our puppy snuggled up with flashlights, candles and lanterns surrounding us. We ate junk food and drank hot chocolate. I read a couple of books to them. Best Day!
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the $20,000 for a down payment for a little cottage or cabin surrounded by nature, animals, a veggie and herb garden, and of course tons and tons of flowers. That would my dream come true where perhaps one day my future grandbabies can visit, stay, play, and create more beautiful memories.
