For 7 years—married with 3 kids, 2 degrees later—I’ve balanced college, career & family, ensuring they feel loved while battling postpartum.
We would like to thank you for supporting Daira Kelly in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Watching my kids flourish, giving them all I once longed for, and working tirelessly to create a life I could only dream about. It’s in the little moments—cooking their favorite meal, splashing around at the water park, singing along during our morning car concerts, and sharing those long hugs that mean more to me than they know. Being loved unconditionally by these little ones is the best feeling in the world.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One of my favorite memories of my kids is from when I was pregnant with our third baby and we hosted a beachside gender reveal. My husband and I had decided that this would be our last addition since we already had a boy and a girl. My two older children were thrilled;my eldest, Dior, even cried out joyfully, “I get to boss around a little sister too!” We initially worried she might be sad, but it turned out she was just excited. We laughed, hugged, cried, and celebrated together.
What would you do with $20,000?Growing up, I moved around a lot with my family of seven, and I always craved a stable home. Now, my family of five is temporarily moving in with my parents so we can save money and eventually buy them a home. This $20,000 would help turn my dream of owning a stable home(a place where my kids can grow up without constant moves) into a reality.
