Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I’ve never been around babies before. My 5 mth old is a calm & happy baby. He babbles, giggles, loves his baths, loves to go on strolls, loves my kisses & hugs. Whether I’m changing his diaper, or carrying baby convo’s with him, it feels so rewarding that every interaction, i do it with my love & delicacy and his happiness shows through his facial expressions & how he interacts. It feels so rewarding that he responds positively, especially as a first time mom with no experience.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My first born son is nearly 5months old & I’m experiencing a lot of 1st times with him, but i always come back to the first appointment I had confirming a heartbeat when he was just this itty bitty nugget on a sonogram picture. That moment feels like just yesterday. As we continue to build more memories along the way, he will always be my little nugget.

What would you do with $20,000?

im self employed, i don’t receive ‘paid time off.’ It would make me feel less-stressed to know I can take sick days off for Josiah if/when it’s needed. Then, Setting up Josiah’s future is important to me. My investment of winning 20k would be to go towards my sons academics, sports and to stretch it along the way towards his college. Alternatively, I’ve suffered chronic migraines since I was a young adult, I’d like to afford a specialist to live a pain-free life for my son.
