Knowing that my kids feel loved, safe and protected. They will grow up knowing God and His love for them as well as my love for them. Watching my tiny humans grow into their own individual personalities and knowing I'm a part of that process. Knowing that I helped instill compassion in my kids and that they love everyone and are always willing to invite anyone to play with them. Knowing I helped instill empathy in my kids, so they try to console or help those in need of it.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My husband and I couldn't have kids, so we got into fostering to help kids out. A year into it we got Ray at 11 months old, then his brother Merlin at 3 weeks old and then their sister Desiree at 1 month old. My best memory is the day we finally got to adopt them officially and they took our last name after 7 long years on April 19, 2021. We went to build a bear, Chuck E. Cheese and Knott's Berry Farm and had a blast. We went through a lot to get to that day, but God carried us every step of it.
What would you do with $20,000?I'd donate duffle bags to foster agencies because the need is great. We had several kids come through our house with a trash bag filled with their stuff. We always made sure when they left they had a duffle bag. I'd donate to the Craig family ministries because they have such a heart for kids and sharing God's love to them. Take a family trip to Hawaii or Disney World.
