What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing your children grow, the privilege to love, teach, nurture, and the reciprocated unconditional love that comes with it all. When days get hard, or I feel short of my best, my children bring me back with their hugs. I have magical kisses that heal all “boo-boos,” the ability to uplift any tough situation in just a moment, and that alone is rewarding! I’ve broken generations of trauma, the reward, is getting to raise healthy and loving children.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory of my kids I will never forget is when we took a trip to the beach. What was meant to be an afternoon walk on the beach (since it was roughly 50 degrees) turned into a full-blown, fully clothed swim day. All of my children are water babies, so they couldn’t help themselves. By the end of our outing, we were all cold, wet, and very sandy, but everyone had a huge smile on their faces. I will always remember and appreciate those spur-of-the-moment outings with my family.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 prize money, I would take us on a family trip because memories are priceless. Then I would buy my children things they need likely clothing, shoes, etc. I would also be able to put them into sports. Lastly, if I had money left over I would pay off some of the many bills we have.
