What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing my daughter’s eyes sparkle and light up when she experiences something for the first time. I try to introduce new things to her every week and her joy, laughter, and excitement is contagious. I love seeing the world through her perspective. It really makes you appreciate things you normally wouldn’t.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

The first time I heard her laugh. It was Halloween of 2023 and she was 5 months old. I did the viral trend of carving a pumpkin and putting her inside of it for a little photoshoot. As soon as I set her down and started to take photos, she let out the sweetest, loudest, and boisterous laugh. I’m so grateful I got to experience that and have photos and videos to look back on.

What would you do with $20,000?

It’s been a dream of mine to own a home. After my divorce, my daughter and I lived with different family members while I figured out next steps. For a long time, we were displaced and didn’t have a place to call our own. We finally settled into a one-bedroom apartment, but I’d love to set some roots down and provide a permanent, safe, and loving home for my daughter to grow up. The money would go towards a down payment for a condo or townhome. (And some new toys of course!)
