My daughter is 11 and I also have three boys ages 7, 3 and 1.I work the graveyard shift full time.I’m currently doing it all alone.
We would like to thank you for supporting Claudia Ruiz in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
When I’m feeling stressed and overwhelmed and one of my kids randomly comes to me and hugs me. A little hug from them reminds me that I’m doing it all for them.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One time when I was working the day shift, I couldn’t take the day off for picture day. My daughter was in fourth grade and her father tried his best to do her hair. Well he decided to do two braids, well they come out unbelievably uneven. It was super cute that he tired, we of course purchased those pictures because it was also very funny.
What would you do with $20,000?I would take a well deserved vacation. Although I am a very humble person that i absolutely would not use it all for myself, I would also spend some of that money to pay a few months of my rent, in order to not be so stressed about it all the time. I’ve been working nonstop for the past 8 years ,and I’m now a single mother so the work has doubled for me. I live off naps so I would definitely take a nice vacation on my own, I would also gift my mom for watching all my kiddos all this time.
