I’m a single mom of two incredible boys and a full-time teacher — raising a family while shaping future minds. My days begin before sunrise
We would like to thank you for supporting Claudia Nieto in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching the tiny humans I’m raising become kind, curious, and confident in who they are. It’s in the quiet moments — hearing “I love you” after a tough day, watching them solve a problem on their own, or seeing them show compassion without being asked. It’s knowing that the lessons, love, and sacrifices are shaping someone who will make the world better. As a single mom and teacher, I get a front-row seat to growth — both at home and in my classroom.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? Some of my favorite memories with my boys weren’t planned months in advance or spent at expensive resorts — they were made on the open road with snacks in the front seat, music blasting, and the GPS barely hanging on. Our little road trips have become a tradition: just the three of us, chasing new experiences and collecting moments that will last a lifetime.
What would you do with $20,000?As a single mom and teacher, $20,000 would be life-changing. First, I’d invest in creating more unforgettable memories with my two boys — maybe a road trip across the country, exploring places we’ve only seen in books and bonding over new experiences that will shape their childhood forever. Second, I’d use it to ease the pressure of everyday expenses — paying down debt, building a safety net, and creating more stability at home.
