Being a parent is hard. No matter what obstacles I face, I still get up and love on my kids, cook, clean, work, college student, and dance.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ciearra Pace in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Being able to see my kids grow. It seems everyday their vocabulary expands. Teaching my kids how to navigate through life, even doing homework, going to doctor’s appointments makes me feel rewarded. Also, looking into my kids face everyday, they look just like me and they both carry something from me. I can recall saying some of the things my kids say now to me when I was a kid and it’s so funny and scary at the same time.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? The first day my 6 year old went to school. She was way more exited than me. That’s when I knew my baby is growing. My 4 year old son, I would never forget the day he was born. I went through so much while pregnant with him, but I never gave up. When he was born ( first vaginal birth) I cried, went into shock, and prayed so hard to god and it shocked me. I’ve always believed in god but the way I prayed touched the doctors and nurses in the room.
What would you do with $20,000?With the $20,000, I plan to use that for a down payment on buying a home. I’ve been trying to buy a home for 3 years now and because I can never raise at least $10,000 for the down payment, I always back out. I only make enough to support my kids. They feel as though I am rich, and I love that so much, but I’m not. I want my kids to have a house! When I am no longer here, I want to be able to give my kids something. No kid asked to be here, so I wouldn’t want to leave my kids with nothing.
