Motherhood is a profound journey that brings an array of emotions, experiences, and lessons. As a single mother, the path is not always easy, but it is undoubtedly rewarding. The smiles, the hugs, the tears, and the trust that my children place on me are all elements that make this experience truly special. It reflects on the rewarding nature of motherhood in general while highlighting the joy of nurturing, the strength gained through adversity, and my deep sense of purpose.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?“One memory of my children that I will never forget is when we were on a plane back to Kansas City, MO, from Las Vegas. I had lost everything after being unable to pay for the moving truck, and we were homeless. I didn’t know what would come of our journey, and I was terrified. As my children slept, I prayed over them, and their peaceful, innocent faces eased my anxiety. In that moment, I truly believed that God wouldn’t leave us nor forsake us on our journey.”
What would you do with $20,000?If you were to bless me with the 20,000 dollars I’d put a portion of it in a trust for each of my children for their future. The other portion I would buy a car to get us back and fourth to safely from school work and home and I’d invest the rest into my nail business. My long term goal is to start a nail school. That money would jump start me into a completely new life. I have worked hard my entire life and started from scratch that money would be such a blessing to me and my family.
