I’m a super mom, nurturing my preemie baby through each trial, conquering every obstacle into a triumph with unstoppable love and strength.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ciara Wadsworth in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Being a mom to a child that faces medical trials can be overwhelming but it’s also beyond uplifting in ways I never expected. Each day brings moments that feel like miracles, like when he eats a new food, learned a new skill, or says a simple word. Witnessing his courage sparks a powerful connection, and with every challenge we tackle together, our bond grows stronger and my heart grows BIGGER! I have a constant reminder that love and hope can shine through even in the darkest moments.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? After 5 long days in the hospital, meeting my son at 30 weeks, weighing only 2.15 pounds, was a moment I will NEVER forget. I couldn’t hold him until the following morning, but the instant I saw his tiny face, I felt pure relief and overwhelming love. All I could think was “We made it, he’s here, and he’s going to be okay”. That memory remains etched in my heart, a testament of hope, resilience and the incredible strength of my little boy. Still the strongest person I know. He is my hero.
What would you do with $20,000?Since my son’s premature birth, we’ve been buried in medical expenses, using every spare dollar to ensure he gets the care he needs. A $20,000 boost would clear a lot of our debt, help us catch up on essential bills and finally give us the chance to rebuild. It’s the lifeline we need to move forward and provide a stable future for our family. One where we can focus on raising our little boy instead of worrying about debt.
