What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Just being able to share life with my little one. And see life through his eyes.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One day I was having a really hard week and I was extremely overwhelmed I couldn’t help but let tears fall. My son came to me looked at me and whipped my tears and said to me “mommy don’t cry it’s going to be ok we got this”. My son has to be the most emotional intelligent 7 year old you can meet. As long as I have my son there’s nothing I can’t do.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put money down for a house for me and my son. I’m from the Bronx born and raised I live in the projects being that I am in low income. I have been working crazy hours trying to save money so I can take my son out of the hood. I want my son to grow up seeing kids playi outside newspapers being left at your door not the kind of environment we are in currently. And as he grows into a young man I know how surroundings will impact him and I don’t want him growing up into that.
