Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is learning what unconditional love is. I would truly do anything for my kids and I never knew what this kind of love was until I had them. I’m still learning to grow as a human being and I’m learning through them as well. I’m an advocate for mental health and postpartum, I often spread awareness on social media, I’m trying to help rid of the stigma of mental illness. I am who I am, and I’m not afraid to share it.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Honestly, just seen the smiles on their faces when we do simple things like going to the beach and when they get to experience new things. My children are six years apart and it’s just amazing to watch them play together and see my daughter. Be the best big sister ever she’s so nurturing and caring to him. It can be as simple as when they’re playing kitchen together and I see how much fun they have

What would you do with $20,000?

I think providing a safe and warm, welcoming environment for our children is so important. My kids are young now, but I would love to finish our basement so when they’re teenagers, they feel comfortable hanging out at home and their friends will feel comfortable coming over as well.I want everyone to feel welcomed, and I hope it will strengthen my relationship with them as well so they feel like they can come to me for anything.
