Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

My children are my constant teachers, my biggest source of laughter and the occasional eye-roll. The most rewarding part of being a mom is realizing that joy is not just an emotion or a destination. It is a daily practice. It's about finding the magic in the everyday, turning the ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory of my children that I will never forget is making our family travel vision board together. My son made a list of 13 domestic and international destinations he wanted to travel to as a family. I went online and gathered pictures of each destination. The children cut them out and placed them (with my creative direction) on the poster board. One special place that we would like to visit is Accra, Ghana, in order to learn more about their late father's heritage and culture.

What would you do with $20,000?

I believe that money must have a mission and I have to intentionally plan a journey for each dollar. I have allocated specific percentages toward my son's orthodontic & dental work, investment in my children's future, family exploration and relocation, support of another widowed mom, an emergency fund & a tribute in their father's memory.
