Charlene Tomczak

I’m building a life my kids can learn from—working from home, raising them with love, faith, and a front-row seat to what’s possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is knowing I’m their safe place. It’s in the way they reach for me when they’re unsure, the little “I love yous” at random, and the quiet moments where nothing big is happening—but everything feels right. It’s not just about showing up, it’s about being the person they trust most in the world. That kind of love changes you.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I’ll never forget is when my oldest met her baby sibling for the first time. She walked in quietly, looked at the baby, and whispered, “That’s my baby?” The way her whole face lit up—pure joy and pride—I knew in that moment we weren’t just welcoming a new baby, we were watching the beginning of a beautiful bond. That memory lives rent-free in my heart.

What would you do with $20,000?

I’d use the $20,000 to create a playroom that brings joy and purpose—a space where my kids can play freely and learn naturally. It would be filled with books, art supplies, pretend play, and quiet corners for discovery. A room that grows with them and encourages them to be curious, creative, and confident.
