One memory I’ll never forget is when Carter Kash was first born, and the nurse whispered, “Listen.” It was his first cry, his very first sound out of the womb. After two exhausting hours of pushing, that moment made everything worth it. Seeing and hearing him for the first time was pure magic, a sound I’ll cherish forever. I’m so grateful the nurse told me to listen—it reminded me that after all the pain, there was beauty. That moment will always stay with me.
