A Chicagoan mom who’s constantly on the go with my 4 kids ages 15,8, 21 months and 7 months in addition to being a 3rd grade CPS teacher.
You decide who will appear in Woman's World magazine, enjoy a weekend getaway in Napa, and take home $20,000
The best part of being a mom is watching your kids grow—not just in success, but through failure too. It’s in those tough moments that I see them persevere, sometimes using advice I’ve given (most of the time!) or solving things in their own unique way. It reminds me that even when it feels like they’re not listening, they are—and they’re becoming stronger because of it.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?ne memory I’ll never forget is the day we brought Sol, my youngest daughter, home from the hospital. It was the first time our family felt whole. Emotions ran high as I realized it would be the last time I’d bring a newborn home—but it was also the beginning of something beautiful: a lifetime of love, growth, and happiness, and the start of countless memories we’d create together as a complete family.
What would you do with $20,000?I would like to use it to put a down payment for a house. As a family who grew from 4 to a family of 6 within 2 years, we definitely need more space ! We currently live in an apartment with only 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and as much as we love spending time with one another, we definitely need our own space and a place where my family can make many new memories as my kids continue to grow. I always wanted to have the house where my kids bring their friends over but we don’t have the space.
