Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I am always proud of the big milestones, but it is sometimes the little moments that are the most rewarding and precious to me. I love watching his mind grow curious when exploring new things and determined when he can't figure something out right away. I love waking up and hearing his sweet, little voice say, "Good morning, Mommy!" and hugging my neck. Getting to be HIS mom and learning how to be the best version of me for him is the most rewarding part of being a mom.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

We were laying in the bed one night talking and out of nowhere he hugged me and said, "I love you. You always protect me. When I get big and you're a little girl, I will take care of you." - Cue the tears! I thought that was the most kind hearted thing for a 3 year old boy to say. I will remember that sweet moment forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use this money to help buy my son and I a house. I have never owned a home (only rented) and I want nothing more than to provide a stable place to call home. I work really hard with no child support. I am very grateful for my health and capability to provided, but $20,000 would put me that much closer to getting the home my son deserves.
