I love how I get the opportunity to raise my daughter, giving her opportunities I didn't get and helping her to be better and have a better childhood than I did. It's such a gift to help her grow into her best self.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Once, my daughter spilled her juice all over the floor and came to me to ask for help in cleaning it up. When she told me that she made a mess, there was absolutely no fear or anxiety in her demeanor, just absolute trust that I'd help her fix her mistake without getting mad at her. That was one of my most heartwarming mom moments because I knew I was on the right path to breaking generational trauma.
What would you do with $20,000?I'd invest some of it, use some of it for home renovations, put some of it towards a college fund for my daughter, and go on a family vacation to Europe to explore our heritage with the rest.
