The most rewarding part of being a mother is watching my children grow into amazing little humans who show empathy, compassion, and embrace their authentic selves. They are my biggest accomplishments. I love seeing their creativity flourish and learning from them as they share their unique perspective on the world.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I’ll never forget is when my kids looked at me only as their mother, with no needs or wants of my own. My husband made me feel selfish for having feelings. This pushed me to step out of my comfort zone, reminding myself that I can be more than just a wife and mom. I want to teach my kids that it’s okay to pursue my passions and prioritize myself to be a better mother. It’s uncomfortable, but empowering, and I’m excited to share that moms deserve to live fully!

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, I would prioritize securing a safe rental home for my children and me to create a more stable living situation. This would help with financial stability while I complete my BSW internship, which is required for my graduation in the summer of 2025. The funds would also be used to cover childcare for my kids while I work. This support would be a great help as I navigate my domestic violence divorce and work toward rebuilding my life loudly, I will no longer be silenced!
