Carmen Claudio

I don’t consider myself a super mom. What I do strive for is a loving, strong and communicative relationship with my children.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

With my daughter, oldest, the relationship that we’re developing as we both grow, communicate and build on our foundation. My son, youngest, seeing some of his maturity as he develops and see that he DOES listen/think about my lessons, lol. They both have been very different journeys and I have NO regrets.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I started a tradition, 2001, with my daughter to have a baby and mami day once a year. Once my son was born, 2008, he too became part of that tradition, he too had a day. Then I added a mami and babies day, the three of us. No matter what we’ve kept it and to this day… they look forward to these days. This happens in April. Their excitement and planning of their respective days has been imprinted in my memory.

What would you do with $20,000?

I will share some of it with my children, of course, lol. April is coming soon! And, to be honest, as a single mom still raising a 16 year old and a daughter who is older, 24, but still needs her momma’s help; I would save some of it and help myself by paying some bills.
