I’m a super mom because most days I struggle but I never allow them to see it. To them, I can do anything. I’m a super mom b/c I keep going.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Even on my worst days my two children come along to make them my best. I don’t have the strength to keep going some days but having them pushes me. Whenever I need a smile or a laugh I go to them. They are the air I breathe and the reason I need. No matter if I have messed up they always lift me up and let me know it’s ok. Those are two people that I know will never leave me and will always love me even after death. I want to quit life everyday but I can’t give up on them.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I was late to my daughter’s award ceremony so I didn’t get a seat. I had to stand on the side where she couldn’t see me. They asked to hold all applause until the end. I yelled so loud when they called her just so she would know I was there. Afterschool she said “mommy I heard you at my ceremony”! In a room full of family/parents, she knew I was there and felt and heard my presence.

What would you do with $20,000?

First I would pay God. Get my son a bed. Take my kids on a vacation that we haven’t really done in a while. Get my car fixed. Fix my credit, and lastly pay the bills because for so many years bills have came first while I’ve neglected living for me and my kids. I just want to live for once, enjoy what won’t always be there(my kids) and worry about what’s always gonna be there last.
