Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing the joy and growth in my son each day! I am so amazed each time I see him laugh or crawl or make a new sound, I sometimes just feel like I am along for the ride watching him grow up. I am here helping him and nurturing him but he’s the one doing the growing and learning, and that is just so rewarding to see! I love being a part of his life. I’m so proud of him and he’s only 7 months old! I’ll probably be a whole crying mess at his graduation or his wedding!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

The first time he rolled over! I left him in his bassinet to grab something from another room and I came back and he was on his stomach! I was so shocked and I remember him looking back up at me with his big gummy smile so happy and proud of himself! That moment really was so sweet, and I know I’ll have many more times of seeing him grow up all of a sudden and see that sweet smile of his!

What would you do with $20,000?

We’ve been living in hotels for a year, we got evicted from our apartment when I was pregnant and had to stay at different hotels. We tried renting last year but there weren’t any apartments willing to let us rent since we were recently evicted. Josiah is growing quickly and we are in desperate need of space. We got pre approved for a loan but have no down payment or savings to upkeep the house. It would cover the down payment and a great start for a savings account. It would change our lives!
