I love watching my son take life lessons from me and watching him implement them in his life. There’s something about reading to him about a certain topic or speaking about the world and watching him interpret it in his own way. It’s really rewarding to watch him turn into a calm, kind and understanding person.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Our first Christmas in our own apartment. I wasn’t financially stable enough to afford a tree or really anything, I didn’t even get him a present, but I was able to build a fort out of books I had. I put blankets everywhere and made sure to put his favorite toys out. When he woke in the morning it was magical without presents or a tree. It was still an amazing Christmas, we had hot chocolate in our book fort and played with buzz and woody all day!
What would you do with $20,000?This would really help us get a home. We are currently living back with my mom. This money would get us a forever home, or move us in that direction. We want a garden and space to play soccer. This will move our little family into a life that is much more comfortable and stable for us.
