Seeing my daughter’s growth has to be hands down the most rewarding part of being a mom. Seeing her smile every time she sees me and knowing I’m her safe place is such an amazing feeling and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?My daughter was diagnosed with autism in May of 2023. She was diagnosed nonverbal meaning she would never be able to communicate with me… she started ABA in 2024 and now is able to communicate. I’ve heard her say mommy for the first time last year and I’ll never ever forget that moment with her.
What would you do with $20,000?Right now I’m currently struggling. I’ve dedicated my life around my daughters ABA and I’m just at a lost. I’ve had to quit my job because it wasn’t accommodating to her hours of service and I don’t have any means of help. I would use the money to help get us our own place and create her a sensory safe room where she can go for comfort and know it’s okay and it’s home. i would pay for sensory therapy for her and get us a reliable car to take us to and from services.
