Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being able to wake up everyday knowing that this tiny person is depending on me no matter what and in her eyes I’m her super hero. I love to see her eyes light up when mommy makes things happen by the grace of God. Making sure she has everything she needs to succeed in life is the ultimate goal.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Seeing my daughter overcome obstacles being born at just 32 weeks and 3 pounds passing all the test in the hospital within just 3 weeks was the most amazing thing. Going into labor early was scary. The thought that it was a possibility that one or either of us could make it was frightening. Because of pre-eclampsia and HELLP I had to have an emergency surgery. Now that she’s 5 and tall as ever no one would have ever known what we went through in those first 21 days of her life.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would invest most of the money that way by the time my daughter graduates that money can go towards college so that she would not be in debt with student loans like myself .. I would want her to start her adult life with financial freedom and not have to worry about how to pay for things such as housing and food. With the smaller portion I would use to take her to Disney world. She’s constantly asking to go and I promised her one day momma would make it happen.
