What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Every moment of her moving thriving and meeting milestones before diagnosis and every improvement she’s gained since. Every limp being used in a functional way, every laugh through the pain, every time she eats orally, instead of a feeding tube and every award she’s earned after intensive therapy. Victories are celebrated every moment of the day, when you know how hard the obstacles are.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won the $20,000 Super Mom prize, I would use it to support Vayda’s ongoing medical care and therapies that insurance doesn’t fully cover. This includes, out of state intensive rehabilitation programs to help her regain skills lost during neurological flares, specialized equipment to support mobility and communication, and holistic therapies that ease her daily challenges. Every dollar would be invested in giving her the best possible chance to grow, thrive, and experience joy.
