The most rewarding part is seeing a smile on my daughter’s face and watching her thrive in life. I love viewing life through her point of view and experiencing things we, as adults, would consider ordinary; she has a refreshing outtake. She knows how to make me feel special and appreciated whenever I need it the most.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I will always remember the day she was born. Unbeknownst to us, the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck as I was delivering. The doctor very calmly asked me to stop pushing and quickly unwrapped it from her neck. We continued the delivery process and she told me what happened afterwards. My little one is laying on my chest now, lifting her head, and looking around the room day 1! This translates to the tenacity, fearlessness, and curiosity that she still displays to this day.
What would you do with $20,000?I would plan a big family trip. We are blessed to still have my grandfather (my daughter’s great grandfather) with us. It would be nice to make lasting memories with him and the rest of my family.
