Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of motherhood is witnessing my child growth and milestones that he has accomplished throughout the years being diagnosed with ADHD at 6. Now that my son is 14 I have watched him excel in his behavior goals since being diagnosed and mastering his school work. It rewarding to experience the unique bond and unconditional love that we share and the joy of shaping my son’s life throughout the years.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I will never forget is when my son was in the 1st grade and he performed his first class performance for the end of the year presentation. He was missing his front row teeth and he was singing louder than any of the other children and kept waving at me and his grandmother throughout the performance. I still have pics and videos of this day that bring a smile to my face.

What would you do with $20,000?

Being a single parent I would take 20k and invest in my son’s future and put it towards his college education. My son is very smart and a honor student . Sometimes it can be very pricey with club fees being that he is also involved in a good amount of school activities and sports as well. I also would put the money towards getting out of debt and putting a down payment on our first house.
