Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The happiness and excitement I get to see on my kids faces everyday after school. The joy they show when they’ve accomplished their goals and the comfort the feel and display when they’re in my arms.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget the day my daughter first learned to ride a bike without training wheels. The joy and excitement I got to witness was so beautiful to me. Another memory is when my 5 year old son shot the basketball through the big boy hoop at the basketball court. We both couldn’t believe he did it. He was so happy and it made me so proud I’ll never forget these moments. They still feel like yesterday.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put a down payment on our first home. We would finally be able to have a place of our own to call home. Those are the moments I pray I get to experience with my little kids. I am working so hard in my 9-5 job to be able to accomplish this goal. It just feels so unattainable because I am currently living pay check to pay check. It feels like I’ll never get ahead.
