The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my child grow and apply the values I've instilled in him. It’s beautiful to see him use the scriptures I've taught him, and when I'm sick, he lays hands and prays for me, just as I would for him. It’s so rewarding to witness how much they soak up and how love, faith, and kindness become second nature to them. Every moment of growth is a reminder that I’m making a lasting impact on his life.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I’ll never forget is during my nursing school journey. My son was always eager to be my patient, ready for me to practice my nursing skills like taking vital signs or performing head-to-toe assessments. He even has matching scrubs to wear when it’s his turn to practice on me. His excitement and willingness to help made those long study sessions so much more meaningful, and it’s a memory I will cherish forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

As a single mom, it’s been difficult to provide for my family, and I’ve had to take a break from school due to an unpaid tuition balance. Winning this contest would allow me to return to school and continue working toward a better future. I’d also use part of the $20,000 to make a down payment on a home, so we no longer have to rent and can finally have a place to call our own. This support would truly change our lives and help us build a more stable future.
