Bridgett Marion

As a super mom of ages 20 and 5, I don’t always know if I’m coming or going but like the wind, I leap, stretch and uplift with God’s love.

We would like to thank you for supporting Bridgett Marion in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I embrace the challenge of being the best version of myself as a positive role model for my children. I celebrate moments like when my son remembers to Thank the Chick-Fil-A associate, and I strived to offer my daughter the unconditional love and patience she needed to navigate her teenage years. In my imperfection I value the responsibility of being an influence, doing my best to make my voice resonate louder than the noise of the world.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Interestingly, I used to detest running, until one day while ranting why anyone would engage in hurting their knees and ruining their hairstyle, I saw my daughter observing me intently, taking it all in. That moment sparked a change and not long after, I ran a marathon—yes, a full 26.2 miles run! I was limping half the way but with the finish line 50 yards ahead, OMG you would have thought I was Sha-Carrie! This journey transformed me as a mom with valuable life lessons to share.

What would you do with $20,000?

I tithe 10% first and foremost. A much deserved family trip is calling my name. I hear you Connolly Rwnch!!! And yes, investing the other half is certain. An education fund for my 5-year old son and savings toward my daughter’s Gymboree that she wants to own in the heart of Oakland, CA!
